Mumbai, 29 July (HS): Chief Minister Devendra

Fadnavis warned his ministers to refrain from making controversial statements

or indulging in such activities, which would defame the government. While

issuing the strict warning, he also talked of action against ministers, if such

statements or actions is observed.

Fadnavis addressed all the ministers immediately

after the cabinet meeting in Mumbai on Tuesday. He said that is the final

warning to all the ministers.

Many ministers were caught making controversial

statements in the recent past. Agriculture Minister Manikraio Kokate was

caught on camera playing Rummy on his phone in the Assembly House. He also made

controversial statements on many occasions. Another minister, Nitesh Rane, was

also criticised for making unwanted statements. Police raided a bar in the name

of Minister of State Yogesh Ramdas Kadam’s mother in Mumbai’s Kandivli. Sanjay

Shirsat was involved in manhandling of a canteen employee. A video showing Shirsat

with huge cash also went viral. Girish

Mahajan is facing charges related to misuse of power.

Shiv Sena (UBT) delegation met the Governor C P

Radhakrishnan on Monday with a demand for action against these ministers.
