Delhi, 10 July (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended greetings to everyone on the special occasion of Guru Purnima.

In a post on X ,PM Modi wrote,Best wishes to everyone on the special occasion of Guru Purnima.”

Guru Purnima is a festival honoring spiritual and academic gurus, celebrated in India, Nepal, and Bhutan by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, and Buddhists. Occurring on the full moon of Ashadha (June–July), it is also known as Vyasa Purnima, commemorating the birth of Veda Vyasa, the sage who wrote the Mahabharata and compiled the Vedas.
