Bhubaneswar, 4 June (H.S.): “The strength of a nation lies in its people—the farmers working in fields, the women in self-help groups, the youth with dreams, the teachers shaping young minds, and the artisans creating beauty,” said Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati while inaugurating the Utkarsh Nimapara Conclave on Wednesday.

Describing the conclave as a platform rooted in inclusive growth and local aspirations, the Governor said Utkarsh Nimapara 2025 is a meaningful step towards people-centric development. He praised Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Pravati Parida for conceptualizing and leading this initiative with dedication and vision.

Calling Nimapara a land blessed with rich culture, spirituality, and fertile lands, he said the region, known for its proximity to the Konark Sun Temple and Chandrabhaga beach, is now poised to become a hub of both tradition and modern progress.

The Governor emphasized that Utkarsh Nimapara 2025 is more than just a celebration—it is a movement to unlock the region’s full potential by empowering youth, nurturing local talent, promoting startups, modernizing agriculture, and embracing digital growth.

Reflecting on Odisha’s overall growth in the past eleven months, the Governor attributed the progress to the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. “Key sectors such as agriculture, tourism, women and child development, MSMEs, startups, healthcare, and infrastructure have seen remarkable strides,” he said.

Governor Kambhampati called upon all stakeholders—leaders, citizens, NGOs and youth, —to unite and translate aspirations into tangible achievements, making Nimapara a model of pride, self-reliance, and sustainable development. “Together, we can build a stronger, self-reliant Nimapara contributing to a Vikashit Odisha by 2036 and Vikashit Bharat by 2047,” he said.

Deputy CM Parida described the conclave as an awakening for Nimapara’s progress. She said the discussions held would help shape a clear plan to transform Nimapara into a key hub for a developed Odisha by 2036. She urged everyone to come together and support this goal.

Jagatsinghpur MP Bibhu Prasad Tarai also addressed the gathering. Puri District Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain delivered the welcome address. Satyabadi MLA Om Prakash Mishra, Puri MLA Sunil Mohanty, Brahmagiri MLA Upasana Mohapatra, and senior government officials were present on the occasion.
