New Delhi, June 4(HS): Tarun Chugh, the national general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has described the objectionable statement made by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann regarding Operation Sindoor as vulgar, absurd, and shameful. On Wednesday, Chugh said in a conversation with the media that the Aam Aadmi Party's statement is a gross insult to women’s dignity and is akin to rubbing salt on the wounds of the widows of innocent civilians killed in the Pahalgam attack.Chugh stated, Operation Sindoor is a tale of valor of our brave soldiers. While the entire country stands with its heroes, leaders like Bhagwant Mann are mocking the sacrifices and courage of brave soldiers, turning it into a joke. This reflects their toxic mindset.

Chugh launched a sharp critique of the Aam Aadmi Party, highlighting the Chief Minister's residence in Delhi as a site of an assault on a woman MP from the party. He noted the assailant was a close aide of Kejriwal and that the party shielded him. Additionally, the attacker was appointed as a special officer in the Punjab Chief Minister's office, revealing the party's disregard for women's honor. Chugh criticized the expulsion of Preeti Malhotra for protesting within the party, asserting that the Aam Aadmi Party disrespects women and rewards criminals, prompting outrage from the women of Punjab.
