Guwahati, 4 June (HS): A special book written on Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, the beloved singer and cultural ambassador of the masses of India, will be translated into 23 Indian languages. This book has been written by author Anuradha Sharma Pujari in the meantime.

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma gave this information while addressing a press conference after attending the first meeting of the Central Organizing Committee held at Lok Seva Bhavan on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister said that this book will be sent to various institutions including more than four lakh universities, colleges and libraries in the country. Along with this, this book will also be delivered to 10 lakh people of the state, so that the life, work and contribution of Dr. Hazarika can be conveyed to the new generation.
