New Delhi, 4 June (H.S.): On the first anniversary of the TDP-led NDA's victory in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu declared June 4, 2024, a historic day in state politics. He referred to it as a day when 'dictators were swept away' by a people's revolution, ending what he termed the 'psycho regime' and restoring democracy.
Naidu emphasized that citizens, through their voting, initiated a movement towards freedom and peace. He credited the coalition with bringing welfare, development, and good governance to a state previously affected by 'state terrorism', highlighting the contributions of the yellow soldiers, Jana Sainiks, and BJP supporters.
The Chief Minister viewed the power granted by the people as a responsibility to rebuild the state, pledging to meet public hopes and aspirations through strengthened governance and reinitiated development. As he reflected on the one-sided electoral verdict that redirected the state's course, Naidu expressed gratitude to the citizens, promising further development and welfare initiatives over the next four years. He also acknowledged the efforts of the Telugu Desam, Jana Sena, and BJP workers and leaders in securing the alliance's victory against detrimental rulers.
