Bangalore, 03 June (H.S.) : The release of Kamal Haasan's 'Thug Life' in Karnataka this week has led into a controversy following the denial of the actor to tender an apology to Kannadigas, for his remarks on Kannada.

The High Court heard a petition filed by Kamal Haasan seeking security for the film.

During the hearing, the bench headed by Justice M. Nagaprasanna, blasted thecounsel of the actor andwarned, If you apologize, there will be no problem. It is not reasonable to ask for security without apologizing.

Kamal Haasan's lawyers have been given a deadline of 2.30 pm to clarify their position.
