Varanasi, 13 June (HS): On Friday,

a Shantipath was held at Maharishi Yogi Ved Vigyan Vidyapeeth in Siddheshwari

to provide peace to the spirits of all the passengers who perished in the

Ahmedabad plane tragedy and strength to their families. Namami Gange members, together with Ved

Vigyan Vidyapeeth students, paid passionate respect to the deceased with Vedic

mantras and pleaded with Baba Vishwanath not to repeat such an occurrence in

the country. God was asked to provide

the departed spirits serenity.

According to Namami Gange Kashi Kshetra

Coordinator Rajesh Shukla, the inquiry will determine the cause of the

Ahmedabad plane disaster and who is to blame. However, the Directorate General

of Civil Aviation and Air India will have to investigate and address the causes

of the accident. Concerns about air

travel safety continue to arise. There

can be no compromise on airline safety.

The Ahmedabad accident suggests that this may not occur. Because of this catastrophe, which has been

described as a national tragedy, certain questions will need to be answered by

Boeing.
