Lucknow, 10 June (HS): On the
occasion of the completion of 11 years of the Modi government at the Centre,
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday listed the achievements of the
government in a press conference at the party's state office in the presence of
Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, BJP President
Bhupendra Chaudhary and State General Secretary Organization Dharampal.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said
that these 11 years of Prime Minister Modi will be known as a golden tenure for
service, good governance and poor welfare. PM Modi's leadership has not only
given global recognition but has also made 140 crore people a symbol of trust
by sacrificing himself. The trust of the common people towards the Congress
leadership and other unstable governments which was broken in the 65 years of
independence, has been increased in the last 11 years by providing a leadership
that is free from corruption, free from the politics of appeasement, and
fulfills the concept of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
While building a developed India,
the action plan for the next 25 years has also been presented to the country. A
new identity has been created on the social, security, good governance and
economic fronts. There is clarity in governance, transparency in functioning
and accountability of the government towards the public. The initiative of
taking the common man along has given India a distinct identity in the world.
Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas has become a part of the governance policy. Now there
is no appeasement. The country has seen zero tolerance towards corruption and
minimum government and maximum governance.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said
that through Operation Sindoor, the whole world has also seen India's military
power. Now, it is not the same India that used to chant peace. Before 2014, we
had become habituated to chanting peace. We will talk about development, but if
someone imposes war on India, then surgical strike and Operation Sindoor will
be the answer. The central government has realized the concept of one India by
ending Article 370. PM Modi gave the mantra of developed India. Reminded the
five vows (Panch Pran), which are making developed India a reality.
The Chief Minister said that using
technology, the system was made corruption-free. The rule of law was
established. The mistakes that led to the country's slavery should not be
repeated. Dynasty politics has to be stopped. The Constitution was respected
under Modi's leadership. For this, PM Modi announced in 2015 to celebrate 26
November as Constitution Day. This happened for the first time in the country.
From 1947 to 2014, India was the
11th largest economy in the world. Today India has become the fourth largest
economy in the world. In 2027, India will become the third largest economy in
the world. Today, 35 kilometers of highways are being built every day. Till
2014, only 11 kilometers were being built every day. Three lakh 80 thousand
kilometers of rural roads have been built in 11 years. Nearly 55 thousand
kilometers of highways have been expanded. Out of 30 cities in the country,
metro is running in six cities of UP.
Chief Minister Yogi said that the
country and farmers became a political agenda for the first time in 2014. MSP
was given 1.5 times the cost of the farmer's crops. Rs 3 lakh 68 thousand crore
has been given to the farmers under Kisan Samman Nidhi. 112 irrigation projects
have been completed. For the first time, the poor have got the benefit of
schemes. Now the benefits of the scheme are not given by looking at the face.
In the last 10 years, 25 crore people have come out of the poverty line.
Participation of daughters has increased. Whether it is the provision of 33
percent reservation for women in the legislature or the scheme to make Lakhpati
Didi, women have been empowered. Similarly, Chief Minister Yogi counted the
achievements of the Modi government at the Center.
