Delhi, 31 May (H.S.): The Indian Army is conducting extensive Capacity Development Demonstrations at various locations, including Pokhran and Babina Field Firing Ranges, with Air Defence demonstrations in Agra and Gopalpur. These trials, held under near-combat conditions, incorporate electronic warfare simulations to rigorously assess advanced defence systems. On 27 May 2025, General Upendra Dwivedi visited Babina to review the demonstrations and engage with stakeholders. The trials focus on advanced technologies from the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative, enhancing indigenous capabilities as part of the Indian Army's Decade of Transformation.

Various defence industry partners are involved, showcasing the growing collaboration between the Army and domestic manufacturers. Key evaluated platforms include Unmanned Aerial Systems, UAV Launched Precision Guided Munitions, Runway Independent Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems, Counter-UAS Solutions, Loitering Munitions, and others. These evaluations aim to bolster the Army's technological edge, operational readiness, and commitment to self-reliance in defence development.
