New Delhi, June 2 (H.S.): The Supreme Court will hear the demolition case in Delhi's Batla House in July. The Supreme Court refused to intervene in the notice for the demolition of certain properties in Batla House. This order was given by a vacation bench headed by Justice Sanjay Karol.During the hearing, senior advocate Sanjay Hegde, representing the petitioner, referred to the Supreme Court's order dated May 7, which directed the DDA to demolish unauthorized structures and encroachments in Okhla village as per law.The DDA claims that the land of Khasra number 279 belongs to it and houses have been illegally constructed on it. The Supreme Court had only issued an order regarding Khasra number 279 during the previous hearing, but the DDA has also issued notices for houses from Khasra number 281 to 285.
