Johannesburg, May 28 (HS): After Operation Sindoor, the true nature of Pakistan as a promoter of terrorism is increasingly exposed. An all-party Indian parliamentary delegation is actively communicating to major countries about Pakistan's ongoing propaganda, deceit, and terrorist activities, notably regarding the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty. The delegation, which includes BJP MP Anurag Thakur and Congress leader Anand Sharma among others, has garnered widespread support in its mission against terrorism. In Johannesburg, Thakur remarked on the tragic Pahalgam incident and highlighted India's military response, which targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan after Pakistan's inaction for 15 days. He reiterated India's commitment to peace but emphasized that India will respond if provoked. Sharma underscored the delegation's purpose of conveying Indian sentiments about terrorism, stating the world must unite against it.
Additionally, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor discussed the impact of the Pahalgam attack, which prompted Operation Sindoor. The operation targeted terrorist infrastructure without provoking war, as India seeks justice for terrorist acts. BJP MP Tejasvi Surya contrasted India’s resolve with Pakistan's past, declaring that India is now a formidable global economy under Modi’s leadership. Shiv Sena MP Milind Deora affirmed India's peaceful stance while insisting on fighting injustice.
The delegation visited various countries, including France, where BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad met officials reaffirming France's support against terrorism. Similarly, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Biju Janata Dal MP Sasmit Patra reported successful discussions, with Congo pledging to stand with India against terrorism, acknowledging the shared experience of suffering from cross-border terrorism.
In Greece, an all-party delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi was also welcomed. JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha defended Operation Sindoor in Singapore, clarifying that it was precise and did not harm civilians. Meanwhile, another delegation reached Saudi Arabia to further promote India’s stance against terrorism. Overall, the Indian delegation emphasizes global collaboration to combat terrorism, particularly stemming from Pakistan.
