Shenzhen, February 27(HS): Saudi Arabia beat South Korea 3-2 in a penalty shootout on Wednesday to book their place in the final of the AFC Under-20 Asian Cup. They will now face Australia in the title match, who beat Japan 2-0 in the other semi-final.
The match between Saudi Arabia and South Korea remained goalless for the scheduled 120 minutes. After this, in the penalty shootout, Saudi Arabia's goalkeeper Hamed Yusuf saved two penalties and became the hero of his team's victory.
At the same time, in the second semi-final, Australia defeated Japan 2-0. Musa Toure scored the first goal of the match in the 49th minute, while Jaylan Pearman scored the second goal in the 67th minute to ensure the team's victory.
Now the teams of Saudi Arabia and Australia will face each other in the final match.
