Madrid, 22 February (HS): Spain beat Belgium 3-2 in a thrilling match on Friday in the UEFA Women's Nations League. Spain made a great comeback by scoring two goals in the last moments of the match.

The Spanish team, playing on the home ground, was trailing 2-0, but Lucia Garcia and Cristina Martin-Prieto scored in the 92nd and 96th minutes to give the team victory.

Belgium took the lead in the 18th minute with a goal from Mariam Toloba, taking advantage of Spain's Irene Paredes' weak clearance on Tessa Wulart's cross. Spain created many chances in the first half, but Belgium's goalkeeper Everard made a brilliant save and foiled the efforts of Alexandri and Alba Redondo.

Spain maintained control of the ball, but Belgium's defense stood firm and denied them a goal. In the 72nd minute, Wulart broke through the offside trap, crossed half of the pitch and scored, giving Belgium a 2-0 lead.

Claudia Pina scored the first goal for Spain in the 77th minute, giving the team the confidence to make a comeback. After this, Spain scored an equalizer in the 92nd minute with the partnership of Salma Parluelo and Lucia Garcia.

The decisive moment came in the 96th minute, when the ball bouncing in Belgium's box during a free kick reached Martin-Prieto and he scored from close range, giving Spain a 3-2 win. With this win, Spain made a great start in the UEFA Women's Nations League, while this match proved to be disappointing for Belgium.
