New Delhi, 22 February (HS): Double Olympic medalist Indian shooter Manu Bhaker has confirmed her place in the ISSF Shooting World Cup to be held in Argentina and Peru. In the list announced by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), 23-year-old Manu has been included in both the air pistol and sports pistol teams.
However, the other two players who won shooting Olympic medals in Paris, Sarabjot Singh and Swapnil Kusale, have failed to find a place in the national team. At the same time, Asian Games gold medalist, Olympic finalist and multiple World Cup gold medalist Saurabh Chaudhary has been selected for air pistol.
First World Cup in Buenos Aires from 1 to 11 AprilThe first World Cup for rifle, pistol and shotgun will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 1 to 11 April. After this, the second World Cup in all three disciplines will be held in Lima, Peru from April 13 to 22.
