Nagar, 22 Feb (HS): Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar visited
Prayagraj to attend the Mahakumbh 2025 and praised the Yogi Adityanath
government's efforts to revive ancient rituals.
Arlekar and his family had a lovely boat trip at the famed Triveni
Sangam before thanking Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for reviving the
country's age-old customs. Speaking to
the media after his boat trip, Arlekar expressed his gratitude to 'Mother
Ganga' for promoting national unity and progress. 'We have restored our country's historic
traditions, and for this, I am grateful to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath. Devotees from all around
India have come together for the Mahakumbh.
I offer my prayers for our country's progress and cohesion,
Arlekar stated.
The
Mahakumbh 2025, which will culminate on February 26, was attended by Union
Health Minister and BJP President JP Nadda, who was accompanied by his
family. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
stated that from January 13 to February 22, 60 crore Hindus took a ceremonial
bath at Triveni Sangam. Despite global
acclaim, Yogi recognized attempts to discredit the event by detractors who
oppose the country's growth.
