Delhi, 21 February (H.S.):On the fourth day of the Uttarakhand budget session, the proceedings of the House began with the Question Hour on Friday, in which questions related to energy, agriculture, horticulture, home, animal husbandry, rural development and skill development were raised by MLAs.

1. How many ponds have been constructed and improved in the last 6 years in Uttarakhand?
--The state government has constructed 3,915 ponds and improved 379 ponds in the last 6 years, providing self-employment to 31 fish farmers in the Salt assembly constituency.
2. What is the status of natural farming implementation in the state?
--According to the Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi, natural farming is being done in 1,950 hectares of area in the districts of Pauri, Tehri, Uttarkashi, and Chamoli under the Namami Gange Natural Agriculture Corridor Scheme.
3. How many employment fairs were organized in 2023-24 and 2024-25, and how many candidates were selected?
--The Employment Minister mentioned that 8 lakh people are registered on the portal of the Employment Department in Uttarakhand.The Employment Minister Saurabh Bahuguna stated that a total of 208 employment fairs were organized in 2023-24 and 2024-25, and during these fairs, 3,085 candidates were selected.
4. What is the number of outsiders verified in Haridwar district in the last few years?
--According to the Home Minister Prem Chand Aggarwal, 87,017 outsiders were verified in Haridwar district in 2022, 121,461 in 2023, 77,106 in 2024, and 11,626 from January 2025 to February 13, 2025.
5. How many poly houses have been installed in the state in the last 3 years?
--Natural farming is being done in 1,000 hectares in 4 districts, and 5,813 poly houses have been installed in the last 3 years.
