He eloquently highlighted the importance of one's mother tongue, describing it as the language of the heart, and the very essence and identity of our homeland.

Through a post on his X handle, the CM expressed: “Mother language is the language of our hearts, the essence and identity of our motherland. On this International Mother Language Day, let us work towards further strengthening the prominence of our glorious Odia language on the global stage while preserving its fame and dignity.”
