21 Feb (HS): SWAT team rural and Wavecity police arrested two cow smugglers

travelling in a Vento car on Friday night. During the encounter, a gangster got

injured after being shot in the leg. Illegal arms, knives, ropes and

intoxicating injections etc. have been recovered from the arrested accused.

Lipi Nagaich (Wave City) said that the arrested cow smuggler Naushad Pani

resident of Ujhari police station Nagli district Amroha, present address Kanti

Nagar New Seelampuri Delhi has been injured by bullet. And his other accomplice

Shahnawaz resident of Saifkhan Sarai police station Kotwali Sambhal Welcome

Jafrabad has also been arrested. Shahnawaz had earlier been injured in a police

encounter from Sambhal police station and has gone to jail. More than two dozen

cases of gangster, cow slaughter, theft, attempt to murder, Arms Act etc. are

registered against the arrested accused in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Sambhal

etc. Information about other criminal history is being collected.
