Bhopal, 20 February (HS): Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Bio Fuel Bio Fuel Scheme-2025 is in line with the basic principles of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Lifestyle for Environment (LIFE) campaign, which emphasizes responsible consumption and production while prioritizing sustainable development. This scheme will promote innovation by taking full advantage of the agricultural strength of the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said in his message on Thursday that along with a green and prosperous future for the people of the state, the scheme will create extensive direct and indirect employment at various levels of bio fuel manufacturing units, bio energy plants, feed stock production and supply chain in the state. The scheme will help in meeting the energy needs of the state, as well as accelerate industrial development while maintaining environmental balance.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Bio Fuel Scheme-2025 is a revolutionary initiative for the economic prosperity of the state, green energy production and employment generation. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India is touching new heights at the global level in the field of sustainable development and renewable energy. Taking a historic step towards renewable energy and sustainable development, Bio Fuel Scheme-2025 has been approved by the Council of Ministers.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the biofuel scheme will be prominently presented in the Global Investors Summit to be held in Bhopal on 24-25 February 2025. Investors from India and abroad, industry giants and policy makers will participate in the summit.

Under the scheme, Basic Investment Incentive (BIPA) up to Rs 200 crore will be provided to the biofuel unit, along with 50% incentive (maximum assistance up to Rs 5 crore) will be provided for the development of electricity, water, gas pipeline, road, drainage, waste management system (ETP, STP, pollution control equipment).
