Raipur, 20 February (HS): Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while talking to journalists at Raipur Airport after returning from Delhi late on Wednesday evening, said that even after being made the National General Secretary of Congress and the new in-charge of Punjab, he will remain active in Chhattisgarh politics.

Bhupesh said ,I am not leaving Chhattisgarh.

Former Chief Minister Bhupesh rejected the discussions of BJP leaders, in which it was being said that after being made the National General Secretary, he will distance himself from the politics of the state. He clearly said that the party has given the responsibility of National General Secretary, but this does not mean that he will leave his state.

Bhupesh supported the statement of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and said that whoever the party leadership gives charge of any state, the responsibility for his success or failure should be fixed. There is nothing wrong in this. Responsibility should also be assessed.
