New Delhi, 19 February (H.S.): The Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) is gaining momentum across the country and expanding day by day. Today, the celebration of the homecoming to the newly reconstructed Keshav Kunj in Jhandewalan, Delhi, is celebrated.
RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat emphasized that the Sangh's activities are expanding in multiple dimensions, and every Swayamsevak must embody purity and the capability to execute responsibilities effectively.
He also stressed that while the conditions of the Sangh have changed, its direction should not change.The newly constructed building by Keshav Smarak Samiti is undoubtedly grand, but with this grandeur comes responsibility, and we must work accordingly to uphold its stature.
Sarsanghchalak Dr Bhagwat remembered RSS founder and first Sarsanghchalak Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and his struggles during the initial period of the Sangh. He noted that Delhi, being the national capital, serves as the center of numerous activities and plays a crucial role in providing direction. Therefore, having a structure that meets the requirements was essential, and thus, this Karyalaya came into existence.
In addition, during the event, speeches were delivered by prominent figures such as Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas Treasurer Pujya Govinddev Giri Ji Maharaj and Pujya Raghavanand Ji Maharaj from Udaseen Ashram, Delhi.
They highlighted the significance of the Sangh's work in society and its continuous progress towards achieving its goals. Pujya Govinddev Giri Maharaj emphasized that the Sangh Prarthna is the greatest mantra and that the Sangh always talks about the progress of the country on the line of tradition of Bharat. Pujya Raghavanandji Maharaj praised the unwavering resolve of Doctor Saheb, the founder of the Sangh, and how the Sangh has worked with dedication towards the upliftment of all sections of society.
Overall, the event showcased the growing influence and expanding activities of the RSS, while also reminding its members of the core values and principles that should guide their actions.
The President of Keshav Smarak Samiti, Alok Kumar, shared insights into the various stages of the reconstruction of Keshav Kunj, Jhandewalan, which began in 2016. The building consists of three towers: Sadhana, Prerana, and Archana, and houses the Ashok Singhal Auditorium, Keshav Library, an OPD clinic, Suruchi Prakashan, and others. It is equipped with a 150-kilowatt solar plant for electricity needs, a 140 KLD capacity Sewage Treatment Plant for proper waste management and recycling, and a beautiful Hanuman Mandir.
During the event, people who contributed to the construction of these buildings were honored. The Praveshotsav was attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Health Minister JP Nadda, RSS Sah-Sarkaryavah Dr Krishna Gopal, Arun Kumar, senior Pracharak Suresh Soni, Sampark Pramukh Ramlal, Sah-Prachar Pramukh Narendra Thakur, Indresh Kumar, Premji Goyal, Rameshwar, and numerous senior functionaries and Swayamsevaks.
