Bhubaneswar, 19 February (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has assured Nepali counselors Shri Sanjeeb Das Sharma and Navin Raj Adhikari that justice will be served in the case of Prakriti, the deceased KIIT student. He also pledged to restore peace and normalcy on the KIIT campus following this tragic incident.

In a meeting at the State Guest House, the Chief Minister stressed the importance of Nepali students returning to campus and resuming their studies. The discussion, focused on restoring normalcy, was attended by Hon'ble Ministers Shri Mukesh Mahaling and Shri Suryabanshi Suraj, as well as Chief Secretary Shri Manoj Ahuja.

Additionally, Nepal's Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba spoke with Shri Suryabanshi Suraj over the phone regarding the issue, reinforcing diplomatic engagement.

The Odisha government remains committed to ensuring the safety of students and restoring peace on the KIIT campus.
