Imphal, 18 February (HS): Security forces have recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition by conducting a search operation in T. Khullen village of Kangpokpi district of Manipur.

During this operation, one HK automatic rifle, three indigenous pull mechanism rifles, one single barrel bolt action rifle, one .32 pistol, one .22 pistol, one mortar (pumpy), five mortar bombs, one Kenwood Motorola handset, three rounds of 7.62 mm and four rounds of 9 mm sniper were seized.

This search operation was conducted under New Kaithalmanbi police station area. Further investigation is going on regarding the recovered weapons.
