Lucknow,
18 Feb (HS): “Uttar Pradesh's 2025-26 budget session began with promises of
progress and growth made by the state,” opined Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar
while retorting to media queries on Tuesday. Rajbhar described it as a 'budget
of prosperity,' emphasizing the desire to move the state forward more quickly.
In light of opposition protests, Minister Rajbhar emphasized the importance of
the opposition's ability to question, but emphasized that the government's
primary focus is on development. He emphasized that dissent will not impede the
state's progress.
Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath urged opposition parties to cooperate, emphasizing
that ensuring smooth legislative proceedings is everyone's responsibility.
Highlighting the BJP's achievements in Uttar Pradesh, Adityanath asked the
opposition to engage in constructive discourse during the session, which would
last till March 5.
The
session, which begins with the Governor's address, will adopt the year's budget
while also discussing public welfare and development problems. On February 20,
the budget will be presented in the Vidhan Sabha, as the opposition,
particularly the Samajwadi Party, continues to criticize past grievances.
