Nagar, 18 Feb (HS): Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan on Tuesday took a
holy dip at the Sangam banks in Prayagraj during Maha Kumbh 2025. On this
occasion, he praised the grandeur of the Maha Kumbh and called it a unique
confluence of Indian culture and Sanatan tradition. Governor Radhakrishnan
performed the ritualistic worship at the Triveni Sangam and took a holy dip. He
said that this occasion is not only a symbol of spirituality but also of social
and cultural unity. He also met the saints and mahatmas of the Akharas and
praised the divine and grand organization of the Maha Kumbh.
After
taking bath in Sangam, the Governor said that Maha Kumbh is the spiritual and
cultural heritage of India. “Every person experiences spiritual peace by coming
here. I consider myself fortunate to be here on this auspicious occasion. The
enthusiasm of the devotees who have come from different states to attend the
Maha Kumbh is worth seeing,” he remarked. A large number of devotees have also
arrived from Maharashtra, and the Governor got to know about their experiences
during the conversation.
