Udalguri (Assam), 18 February (HS): An important meeting of the 'BTR Observers Committee (BCOC)' was held in Udalguri district on Tuesday. Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) General Secretary Garjan Mushahari, BCOC members, Khalilur Rahman, Kandarp Kalita, Udalguri District Congress Committee (DCC) in-charge Premlal Gunju, Udalguri DCC president including district BCC and divisional presidents were present in the meeting.

The appointment of two BCOC district coordinators was announced in the meeting. Also, it was decided that the party will participate in the council meetings with full strength in all 10 BTCLA seats of BTR. An atmosphere of enthusiasm and energy was seen among the Congress workers in the meeting, the credit for which was given to Assam Pradesh Congress President Bhupen Kumar Bora.
