The advisory, issued by Senior Superintendent of Police (Law and Order) R Kalaivanan, prioritizes crowd control and safety regulations, following the earlier denial of permission for a road show.
Key restrictions and regulations include:
Attendance Cap: Attendance is strictly limited to 5,000 people, matching the capacity requested by the TVK organizers.
Non-Resident Entry Ban: Residents of neighboring Tamil Nadu are prohibited from entering the venue and are asked not to travel to Puducherry to prevent congestion and inconvenience.
Exclusion Policy: Children, pregnant women, and elderly persons will not be permitted entry into the venue.
Entry Requirement: Only individuals possessing a valid QR code pass issued by the TVK will be allowed inside the Expo ground.
Parking: Parking will be designated at the Puducherry Marina, the rear side of the sports stadium, and the old port area.
The police have also mandated that the organizers provide essential amenities at the venue, including drinking water, toilet facilities, ambulances, first aid medical teams, fire engines, and proper enclosures.
