Kolkata, 28 December (H.S.): The Trinamool Congress (TMC) shared a post on the social media platform 'X' on Sunday, claiming that the entire West Bengal is currently resonating with the spirit of ‘Unnoyoner Panchali.’ According to the party, ‘Unnoyoner Panchali Broto Katha’ programmes are being organized in every corner of the state, where a large number of women are gathering together.

In its post, the Trinamool Congress stated that through these programmes, the women of Bengal are uniting, transcending social and political divisions, and sharing the story of the transformative development that has allegedly taken place over the past 15 years. The party claims that the active participation of women in these gatherings demonstrates that the state's development journey is united, empowered, and continuously progressing.

The post also stated that ‘Unnoyoner Panchali’ is not just a campaign, but a celebration of the journey of development and progress in the state, in which women play a crucial role. The Trinamool Congress expressed confidence that this development journey will continue with the same strength.

This campaign is being seen as a public relations and political strategy by the Trinamool Congress ahead of the 2026 assembly elections, although the party has presented it as a celebration of development.
