Citing a recent Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) report, PM Modi highlighted that antibiotics are proving ineffective against diseases like pneumonia and urinary tract infections (UTIs) due to indiscriminate usage, appealing to the public to avoid self-prescribed drugs.
