28 Dec (HS): Industrial Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Nand
Gopal Gupta Nandi on Sunday held a review meeting with the office bearers and
workers of the organization at the residence of Booth President 183 Girish
Mishra, Booth President 184 Nitin Kesarwani in Khushal Parvat, Booth President
185 Ajit Srivastava and Sector Coordinator Mahesh Tripathi in Kuncharaya Ganga
Prasad area of Prayagraj City South Assembly constituency and held a review
meeting with the booth committee regarding the Voter Intensive Revision
Campaign (SIR) being conducted by the Election Commission of India. During
this, Minister Nandi did a detailed review of the work related to SIR form.
Appealing to the workers and office bearers, he said that no eligible voter
should be left out of the list.
Minister Nandi held a meeting with workers and officials and appealed to them
to reach every household and carry out the work of voter list verification,
amendments, new registrations and deletions with complete dedication and
responsibility. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring maximum public
participation in the campaign, maintaining the accuracy of documents, and
achieving the 100% target within the stipulated timeframe.
Describing SIR as an important campaign, he appealed to the workers to check
each form thoroughly. He said that the work of checking the voter list is
linked to the spirit of nation first. Minister Nandi said that the aim of the
organization and the government is to ensure registration of 100% eligible
voters every Wednesday. During this, Mandal President Sumit Vaish, Mandal
General Secretary Manmohan Mishra, Bachpan Gupta, Councilor OP Dwivedi, Mahesh
Tripathi, Ayush Pandey, Prahlad Jaiswal, Ilu Agarwal etc. were present.
