Lucknow,

28 Dec (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed on Sunday

that the state's law and order model is being used as an example in other

states, claiming that a sense of security has boosted investment and

infrastructure development. Addressing the final day of the two-day 'Police

Manthan' conference at the police headquarters here, Adityanath stated,

We have demonstrated in Uttar Pradesh what can be achieved. People in

other states are attempting to offer it as a model. The media reports that the

'UP model' has arrived. He attributed the turnaround to smart policing inspired

by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, and stated that the roadmap developed

during the conference will be an essential policy document.

He

cited expressways, air connections, and rail networks as examples of

infrastructure that would not have evolved at this rate sans security. The

chief minister stated that public view of Uttar Pradesh has evolved during the

last eight and a half years. People currently accept that Uttar Pradesh has

undergone a metamorphosis. He stated that security and the rule of law attract

investment. Adityanath also emphasized dialogue-based, people-centered police,

saying, Human intelligence is our most powerful weapon, and pushing

cops to increase contact with residents and elected officials.

Adityanath

kicked off the conference on Saturday, which will focus on important police

difficulties including as cybercrime, human trafficking, and rising social

media issues.The

event brought together top officers for 11 topical sessions aimed at

determining the state's strategic aims and long-term road plan for law

enforcement. According to police authorities, the conference aims to improve

people-centric policing, promote a technology-driven contemporary law

enforcement system, and assure quick and efficient action against crime and

offenders. Rajeev Krishna, Director General of Police, stated that the meeting

replaced the previous annual 'Police Week' to allow for more outcome-oriented

brainstorming.
