Varanasi, 27 Dec (HS): Nine flights have been cancelled from

Babatpur International Airport in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh on

Saturday. The Airport Authority has issued a press release in this regard on

Saturday. The Airport Authority informed that due to dense fog and bad weather,

nine flights operating from Varanasi Airport have been cancelled today. These

include one flight of Air India Express, six flights of Indigo and two flights

of Spice Jet. The simultaneous cancellation of nine flights has increased the

inconvenience for the passengers at the international airport. According to the

passengers going to New Delhi and Ahmedabad, due to bad weather, they felt that

their flights might get cancelled. After the cancellation of flights, they are

now preparing to reach their destination by other means.
