27 Dec (HS): Uttar Pradesh government's Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh

arrived in Jakholi village in the Konch tehsil of Jalaun district on Saturday

to attend a program. Speaking to reporters, the Water Power Minister criticized

the Samajwadi Party (SP). Swatantra Dev Singh launched a scathing attack on

Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav. He said that before 2017,

Samajwadi Party members engaged in hooliganism and looting in the state. This

was their agenda. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has come to

serve the poor, while Samajwadi Party members talk nonsense.

The

Jal Shakti Minister, while listing the current government's achievements, said

that today we have a double-engine government. Crores of people are getting houses

and tap connections. Everyone wants to build permanent houses, and everyone is

feeling happy. He said that the state has internet connection, a network of

roads, and millions of tourists are coming. During this time, he distributed

blankets to villagers and the helpless to protect them from the severe cold and

inquired about their well-being.
