Guwahati, 23 December (HS): Guwahati Police have safely recovered a 17-year-old minor girl who had gone missing from the city, officials said on Tuesday.

According to police, a team from Noonmati Police Station launched an operation after the girl’s family lodged a missing complaint. Acting on the information, the police traced and recovered the minor safely from HD Road in Guwahati.

After completing all necessary verification, investigation procedures and legal formalities, the girl was handed over safely to her family. Police said that further investigation into the case is being carried out seriously on the basis of the registered FIR.----------
