Mumbai, 22 Dec (HS): Two [people were injured in a

blast in a distillery in Bhalwani area of Sangli on Monday morning. The blast resulted

in a fire in the distillery.

The distillery is owned by Mansur Mulla. His son

Aftab Mansur Mulla (30) and Amir Umar Mulani (40) were working when the blast

and resultant fire occurred. Both were rushed to the District hospital in

Sangli.

The Fire Brigaden and Police rushed to the site. The

cause of the blast is being ascertained.
