Gorakhpur,

20 December (H.S.): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has clearly instructed

police officers to take strict action against agents who defraud people in the

name of sending them abroad. He also directed them to ensure that such agents

return the entire amount of money to the victims. He directed them to identify

fraudsters in the name of sending them abroad and take strict action against

them.

Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath issued these instructions while listening to people's

problems during a public darshan held in the bitter cold on Saturday morning.

He met approximately 250 people at the public darshan, held in the Mahant

Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan auditorium of the Gorakhnath Temple. He assured

everyone that there was no need to panic and that every problem would be

effectively resolved. A woman who had come to the public darshan told the Chief

Minister that she had been defrauded by an agent in the name of sending a

family member abroad. The Chief Minister directed the police officers present

at the scene to take strict action against the agent and recover the victim's

money. He also counseled the woman, saying, One should not fall prey to

agents in the name of going abroad. People who go there by the wrong means end

up in jail.

Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath directed strict action in police-related cases that

came up during Janta Darshan. He also said that there should be no delay or

negligence in helping the victims. If there is any kind of negligence in

solving the problems of the public, action will be taken against the concerned

person. The Chief Minister asked the administration and police officials to

resolve the problems of the public in a timely, fair and quality manner. Every

victim should be helped immediately. He directed to take strict legal action on

complaints of land grabbing.

As

usual, some people came to Janta Darshan seeking financial assistance for

treatment. Chief Minister Yogi instructed officials to complete the hospital

estimate process as soon as possible and provide it to the government. Adequate

assistance will be provided for treatment from the Chief Minister's

Discretionary Fund. CM Yogi gave chocolates to children who came to Janta

Darshan with their families, while also caressing them and encouraging them to

go to school.
