19 Dec (HS): Implementing the Yogi government's employment-oriented and social
inclusion policies, a special job fair for youth from BPL families was
organized at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Aliganj,
Lucknow. The objective of this job fair was to provide direct employment
opportunities to youth from economically weaker sections.
A
total of 10 prestigious companies participated in the job fair, where 327
candidates participated in the interviews. Following the interviews, the
companies extended job offers to 137 candidates, paving the way for employment
for the selected youth. On this occasion, M.A. Khan, Training and Placement
Officer, informed that 10 companies participated in the job fair, interviewing
327 candidates, and 137 successfully receiving job offers. He stated that
efforts will be made to connect more youth with employment through such job fairs
in the future.
During
the program, the institute's Principal, Raj Kumar Yadav, urged the companies
present to provide employment opportunities to as many young people as
possible. He also encouraged the selected and participating candidates to work
with diligence, discipline, and dedication, so that they can bring glory to the
institute and the state at their workplaces.
