Jammu, 19 December (H.S.): The Directorate of School Education Jammu has ordered the promotion of 141 trained Graduate and Post-Graduate teachers as Masters in Pay Level-6E, following the recommendations of the Divisional Level Departmental Promotion Committee.

As per an order, the promotions cover teachers who qualified B.Ed up to December 31, 2024 and will be effective notionally from September 5, 2025, with monetary benefits from the date they join as Masters.

The order further said that vigilance clearance of 133 officials has been received and these officials have been posted or adjusted in different schools of Jammu division, while postings of the remaining promoted teachers will be issued after receipt of the required vigilance clearance.
