Srinagar, 16 December (H.S.): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the Union Home Ministry’s proposal for extending the inter-cadre deputation of 2008 batch Gujarat Cadre IPS officer Sarah Afzal Ahmed Rizvi from Gujarat to AGMUT Cadre (UT of J&K) for a period of two years.

“The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs for extension of inter-cadre deputation tenure of Sarah Afzal Ahmed Rizvi, the 2008 batch Gujarat Cadre IPS officer from Gujarat to AGMUT Cadre (UT of J&K) for a period of two years beyond October 20, 2025, on ground of personal hardship,” read an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
