
Bhubaneswar, 16 December (H.S.) : The special Pahili Bhoga ritual commenced at the Shree Jagannath Temple on Tuesday to mark the auspicious occasion of Dhanu Sankranti, with traditional rituals performed amid deep religious fervour.
As part of the Dwara Phita ritual, the temple doors were opened at 2 am. Subsequently, between 5:30 am and 6 am, Pahili Bhoga was offered to the deties in accordance with established ceremonial practices. The Pahuda ritual is scheduled to be observed at 11 pm.
