16 Dec (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi
Temple and Hanumangarhi Temple in Ramnagari on Tuesday. He then paid floral
tributes to the mortal remains of former MP Dr. Ram Vilas Das Vedanti Maharaj.

Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, plays a major and active role in
Ayodhya, notably in relation to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. He visits the temple on a regular basis,
oversees its progress, attends religious events, and regularly talks publicly
about its importance to Hindu culture and national identity. CM Adityanath makes regular travels to
Ayodhya to worship at the Ram Temple (Ram Lalla shrine) and the Hanumangarhi
temple, asking blessings for the state's prosperity.

Adityanath expressed great sadness over the death of Dr. Ram Vilas Das Vedanti
Maharaj, a senior player in the Ram Janmabhoomi campaign and former MP, and
praised his substantial contributions to the temple's construction. In essence,
Yogi Adityanath is important to the spiritual and political narratives
surrounding Ayodhya's new Ram temple.
