Chennai, 13 December (H.S.) : IndiGo Airlines cancelled a total of 56 flights at Chennai International Airport on Saturday, marking the 12th consecutive day of operational disruption, according to airport officials.

The cancellations were evenly split, comprising 28 departing flights and 28 arrival services, and affected operations from early morning through midnight. Both domestic and international routes were impacted by the mass cancellations.

Among the cancelled arrivals were flights originating from various cities across India, including Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune, Patna, Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, and Coimbatore.

Additionally, international services from destinations such as Dubai and Indonesia were also cancelled, leaving numerous passengers stranded and increasingly frustrated by the sustained crisis.
