11 Dec (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his second consecutive
visit to Gorakhpur, met with people and listened to their problems during the
Janta Darshan held at the Gorakhnath Temple on Thursday morning. During this,
he offered heartfelt support, promising to provide housing to those in need and
adequate financial assistance for the treatment of those suffering from serious
illnesses. He said that the government is committed to providing the benefits
of welfare schemes to every needy and eligible person and to effectively
resolving every problem.
Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath met approximately 300 people during the public darshan
held at the Gorakhnath Temple on Thursday morning. The Chief Minister
personally visited the people seated in the auditorium of Mahant Digvijaynath
Smriti Bhavan and listened to their problems one by one. Listening attentively,
he took their applications and referred them to the relevant administrative and
police officers for resolution, directing that all problems be resolved in a
timely, fair, and satisfactory manner.
During
the Janta Darshan, a woman expressed her housing concerns. The Chief Minister
assured her that she would be provided with housing under the Pradhan Mantri
Awas Yojana (Prime Minister's Housing Scheme). He also directed the officials
present on the spot regarding this matter. He stated that the government's
intention is to ensure that every needy person has a permanent home. During the
Janta Darshan, a woman requested assistance for her husband's treatment. Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath assured her that she could receive adequate treatment
for her husband, and that the money would be arranged from the discretionary
fund. Several other people had also come seeking financial assistance. Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath assured them that no one's treatment would be stopped
due to lack of funds. He directed the officials to ensure that the
administration quickly prepares and provides high-quality treatment estimates
for those in need. The government will immediately provide funds upon receiving
the estimates.
On
complaints of land grabbing, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the police
that if any powerful person is forcibly grabbing someone's land, then strict
action should be taken against him. On the problem of some people creating
obstruction in a woman's possession of her own land, the Chief Minister told
the officials that the woman should be given possession of her land. In Janta
Darshan, CM Yogi directed the senior officials that if any eligible person is
facing difficulty in getting the benefits of the schemes, then it must be
investigated whether any negligence has been committed at any level. He said
that the officials should show immediate sensitivity towards public problems.
