Patna, September 05 (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Nabin on Saturday visited his alma mater, Gyan Niketan School in Patna, on the occasion of National Teachers’ Day and fondly recalled his school days.

During his visit, Nabin said the memories and experiences of his formative years at the school would remain etched in his memory throughout his life.

Expressing his happiness over returning to his school on Teachers’ Day, Nabin said his affection and emotional bond with the institution would remain unchanged regardless of the position he holds.

“I am very glad that I had the opportunity to visit my school on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. My feelings for my school will remain unchanged irrespective of the post I hold. The formative years of school are always memorable for every child, no matter how high they rise in life,” he said.

Nabin also underlined the lasting influence of school years in shaping an individual’s personality and outlook. His visit to the institution on Teachers’ Day reflected his appreciation for the teachers and the educational environment that played a role in his formative years.

Teachers’ Day is observed in India every year on September 5 to commemorate the birth anniversary of former President and renowned educationist Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
