Guwahati, 05 September (HS): Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with religious fervour at the temple premises of the 1st Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Sonapur, on Saturday under the guidance of Commandant Sunil Kaushik.

Vaishali Kaushik, President of Sandiksha, along with members of the Sandiksha family, officers and personnel of the battalion, participated in the worship of Lord Krishna and sought His blessings.

The programme highlighted the life and teachings of Lord Krishna, with participants taking a pledge to follow his messages of duty, truth and righteousness. The celebration concluded with the distribution of Prasad among the devotees, creating a spiritual and festive atmosphere on the temple premises.-----------
