Sambhajinagar, 04 Sept (HS): Rural police of Chhatrapti Sambhajinagar arrested two

more accused involved in loot on Samrudhhi Mahamarg. They were hiding as

farmers in a sugarcane farm near Ujni Dam in Pune district. They were arrested

during the combing operation by the police, which has been intensified

following growing incidents of robbery and dacoity on the expressway.

The main accused

of the gang, Parshuram Gaikwad, was earlier arrested from Delhi. The two

arrested from Pune were members of the same gang. The two accused projected

themselves as farmers and had agricultural equipment and insecticide sprayer on

their person to mislead the police.

Dynaneshwar

Shahadev Jadhav (34) of Malewadi in Pathardi Tehsil and Umesh Laxaman Gailwad

(27) of Pithi Naygaon in Patoda tehsil were named as accused and arrested.
