New Delhi, 04 September (H.S.): The recent decline in the bullion market came to an end on Friday, Janmashtami, with both gold and silver witnessing a sharp rally during early trading. Gold prices have risen by Rs 3,070 to Rs 3,350 per 10 grams across most parts of the country. Similarly, silver has jumped by as much as Rs 5,200 per kilogram in most bullion markets.

Following the change in prices, 24-carat gold was trading at levels ranging from Rs 1,55,360 to Rs 1,55,510 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Likewise, 22-carat gold was being sold between Rs 1,42,410 and Rs 1,42,560 per 10 grams. With silver prices also witnessing a sharp rise, the precious metal was trading at Rs 2,50,100 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market during early trading.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,510 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,42,560 per 10 grams. In the country’s financial capital Mumbai, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,55,360 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,410 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,55,410 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,42,460 per 10 grams.

Apart from these major cities, 24-carat gold was being sold in Chennai at Rs 1,55,360 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,42,410 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,360 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,410 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,55,410 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was being sold at Rs 1,42,460 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,510 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,560 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,55,410 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,42,460 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,510 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,42,560 per 10 grams.

Like in other states, bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha were also witnessing a strong upward trend in gold prices during early trading. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,360 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold was being sold at Rs 1,42,410 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
