Hyderabad, 19 September (H.S.): Vigilance officials conducted searches at several private educational institutions in Hyderabad on Saturday following allegations of diversion of government funds through bogus admissions.

The searches were carried out at private engineering colleges in Ibrahimpatnam and other areas following allegations that funds released under scholarship and fee reimbursement schemes were being misused through fake or bogus admissions.

Officials are examining the alleged irregularities and the flow of government funds linked to such admissions.
