New Delhi, 17 September (H.S.): Gold prices continued to show an upward trend during early trading in the domestic bullion market on Thursday. Following the rise in prices, gold became costlier by Rs 270 to Rs 290 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged for the fourth consecutive day. The precious metal continued to trade during early trading hours at Monday’s level.

Following the latest price movement, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,53,450 to Rs 1,53,600 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling in the range of Rs 1,40,660 to Rs 1,40,810 per 10 grams. As silver prices remained unchanged, the precious metal continued to trade at Rs 2,44,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,53,600 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,40,810 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,53,450 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,40,660 per 10 grams. Similarly, the retail price of 24-carat gold in Ahmedabad stood at Rs 1,53,500 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,40,710 per 10 grams.

Besides these major cities, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,53,450 per 10 grams in Chennai, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,40,660 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,53,450 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,40,660 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,53,500 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,40,710 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,53,600 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,40,810 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,53,500 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,40,710 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,53,600 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,40,810 per 10 grams.

Like the bullion markets in other states, gold was also trading firmly in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. In the capitals of these three states—Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar—24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,53,450 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,40,660 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
